The mission of Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue is to reduce the numbers of homeless animals living in unfavorable conditions by providing abandoned, unwanted, and stray animals food, shelter, proper veterinary care, rehabilitation, and the opportunity for adoption into loving forever homes. All rescue animals will receive proper veterinary care, spay/neuter, and vaccinations, and reside at either our Warwick shelter or with one of our many loving foster families prior to being adopted into a home. Spay/neuter is essential to reducing the numbers of future animals born into unfavorable conditions.

ADOPT
There is a loving cat waiting for you to be their fur-ever family! Our cats and kittens are located in our partner PetSmart locations, and in foster homes across the state of R.I. Our process for adoption approval includes an application, veterinary reference, and home visit. We are looking for the best fit and homes for our rescues.

FOSTER
All you need is a spare room and time to give to help prepare our rescues for their “furever” homes! We provide all supplies, you help provide medical care and attention, taming and socialization, and of course, love, all in preparation for adoption.
VOLUNTEER
Are you also passionate about what we’re doing? There’s so much to be done – we are always looking for help! Would you like to help care for the cats and kittens, or perhaps you prefer clerical tasks or fundraising? Whatever best suits you, just let us know!
